We all deal with emotional pain in our lives. It’s my privilege to accompany clients as they process and begin to heal from emotional pain, whether caused by depression; anxiety; or difficult life circumstances; such as divorce, death, or infidelity. In a calm and attentive manner I help clients work through what is holding them back.
My approach to couples therapy combines education and emotion. While education is incredibly important, I believe healing emotional experiences are the glue that holds a relationship together. I am a practitioner of Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples.
The most common complication of pregnancy and childbirth is a mental health issue. As a mother myself, I understand that pregnancy and postpartum can be a very difficult and vulnerable time for many women. It’s ok to not be ok! I offer support and skills that help when dealing with postpartum depression, anxiety, or OCD.
Clients walk out of my office with greater insight into their situation and with tools and skills to achieve their goals.
